This is Manchester City's third signing in the winter transfer market, having also acquired defenders Vitor Reis from Palmeiras (€37 million) and Abdukodir Khusanov from RC Lens (€40 million), making them one of the most active teams in this period.

Upon his arrival at Manchester City, Marmoush expressed his excitement to the club's media: "It's a day I'll never forget.
