FC Barcelona apparently, considering that its first offer to RB Leipzig to secure the services of Dani Olmo has not had a great impact on the Germans, would have prepared a new, more economically attractive proposal with the intention of finishing convincing the Germans

Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona does not seem to have neglected the possible incorporation of Dani Olmo during this summer market. The player from Terrassa is emerging as a top-level alternative to reinforce the culé offensive front, both in the midfield position and in the wingers, thanks to his versatility that allows him to play in up to four different positions in the offensive zone.

In that sense, the catalan team would have presented a first offer to cover the €60 million demanded by RB Leipzig to let one of its stars leave. This proposal consisted of a payment of 40 M€ as a lump sum, which would be paid in installments of 10 million euros from January 2025, and the remaining 20 M€ could be reached through contractual variables. However, this offer would not have entirely convinced the 'Red Bulls'.

Now, the Germans' reaction to FC Barcelona's first proposal has alerted the club, which understands that to secure the services of the former Dinamo Zagreb player it will have to improve its proposal. According to 'SPORT', the catalan club would have presented a new and more attractive offer with more realistic conditions in order to convince RB Leipzig.

According to the aforementioned source, the fixed amount to be paid now would be around 50 M€, although it has not been specified what would be the form of payment for this amount. In turn, the variables proposed in this operation would apparently exceed the 60 'kilos' requested by the Teutons, raising the total to around 65 million euros. These variables, although not detailed, are apparently more accessible to meet, which could lead to an agreement that FC Barcelona considers that the Germans could accept, especially considering that they have less and less time to find a replacement for Dani Olmo.
