The future of Neymar Jr. is set to be one of the 'soap operas' of the next transfer market. The Brazilian, who is recovering from the hamstring tear he suffered just a few weeks ago, ends his contract with Al-Hilal in June 2025 and everything indicates that he will not renew with the Saudi team, so he will have to choose the next step in his career.

His father spoke about this in the podcast 'Rundcast', where he commented that "let's wait and see what will happen and how Neymar will really feel. He will be free to decide. We have never been so free to decide where we are going and having a 32-year-old boy free in hand is a gift for any businessman."

Neymar has not yet made a decision

'Ney's' father assured that he is waiting to play in the new Club World Cup. "All the clubs will be there and Al-Hilal will be in this championship, they won this place. They already have one of the biggest stars they could have to compete in this and a boy with experience in this type of competition. That's why they didn't give up on the second year of Neymar's contract."

Finally, he explained his son's different team changes. "We never made plans. The only plan we made was to go to Barcelona. The rest... PSG was crazy, it became a whirlwind and, out of nowhere, when we saw him, he was leaving. Al Hilal too. These were things that happened," he said, concluding by stating that they still have not made a decision about the player's future.

"Today Neymar has a contract until 2025. We don't know anything. I see the speculation and we have started to prepare for it. I know that the market is waiting to see how he will recover, but he always comes back better than he was. And it won't be different," he concluded.
