OFFICIAL: Douglas leaves yielded to the Sporting of Gijón

Luis Enrique did not have Douglas in the staff of the FC Barcelona this season 2016-17, and "MD" already advanced does some days an information in which it spoke of imminent cession of the carrilero Brazilian of 26 years to a club of the Spanish League, the Sporting of Gijón, that already interested by Douglas during the past market of winter.

During the midday of this Friday, before the press conference of presentation of Jasper Cillessen, Robert Fernández, Albert Soler and Jordi Mestre confirmed the definite cession of Douglas to the Sporting, with the peculiarity that it will be the FC Barcelona the one who credit the complete index card of the player this campaign, although the Sporting will have a clause by which will have to compensate economically to the Barça in the case that Douglas do not obtain the necessary minutes.

Has valid agreement with the Barça until 2019.
