As reported by 'Corriere dello Sport', apparently Roma considered the option of hiring Xavi Hernández following the dismissal of Daniele De Rossi, which occurred just under a week ago. However, the same source also clarifies that the coach from Terrassa would have turned down the proposal from the Roman club.
