The Bayern Munich board is willing to sell Kingsley Coman at an affordable price next summer. For FC Barcelona, the Frenchman could be a 'low-cost' solution for the left winger position.

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Kingsley Coman could be one of the 'bargains' of the upcoming summer market. The Bayern Munich player is one of the assets with which the Bavarian team could cash in to pursue the signing of Florian Wirtz, the main target of the club for the 2024/25 season. Although Bayer Leverkusen is asking for a fortune for their star, Bayern is not giving up, a stance that could indirectly benefit FC Barcelona.

According to 'BILD', the Munich team would be willing to let go of the 28-year-old winger for a price close to 40-45 million euros. The French international has a contract until June 2027, but he does not plan to renew in the short term and, although the Bavarians had initially set his exit price at 70 'million', they would be willing to let him go for almost half that amount.

Hansi Flick does not rule out bringing back Kingsley Coman to Barça

Bayern paid €21M to Juventus for his transfer in 2017 and, while the Parisian remains important for coach Vincent Kompany, he is no longer on the club's untouchable list. In that sense, the board would greenlight his departure as long as they can recover the investment made on a player who has already won everything with the club in eight seasons. In the 2024/25 season, he has 6 goals and 4 assists in 33 matches (1,530 minutes).

Meanwhile, Barça is keeping an eye on the future of one of the wingers that the board has been monitoring for a long time. Kingsley knows Hansi Flick very well, being a key piece of the team that won the treble in 2020. For the German coach, incorporating a left winger is one of the priorities for next summer, although the club has other more high-profile options on the table. Rafael Leao and Nico Williams, for now, are the ones generating the most excitement among the Barça fans for that position.
