Osasuna has closed the arrival of a very interesting winger this Thursday. The player was one of the options that FC Barcelona explored as an alternative to Nico Williams. However, the culés, focused on the Athletic striker, have just lost this possibility

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Osasuna has kept a player that FC Barcelona had considered as an alternative in case they do not achieve the signing of Nico Williams. The young man is already in Pamplona to sign his new contractual agreement with the 'rojillos'. Bayern Munich and the Navarrese team have reached an agreement for the loan of the player until 2025.

Before this transaction was completed, Barça's sporting director, Deco, was interested in Bryan Zaragoza. Taking advantage of the fact that Bayern wanted to get rid of him and was willing to give him up, Barça tested this option as an alternative for their left wing if Nico Williams' deal collapsed. In the end, however, the interest has not gone beyond that, since the Catalans still trust in being able to sign the Athletic striker. For this reason, the former Nasrid team player has chosen not to wait any longer and accept Osasuna's proposal, which offers him to be a starter in a team that is always competitive.

Barça also thought about Bryan in January

The attacker was on the agenda already in January, when he met with the Barcelona directors to talk about his possible arrival in Barcelona. During the conclave, those responsible for the Catalan institution proposed that the Malaga native join the club this summer, if Granada ended up in the Second Division, as finally happened.

However, the Blaugrana did not finish deciding and the Bavarians moved and paid the termination clause for the forward. In addition, they paid a premium to stay with Bryan since January. However, the young man failed to surprise the managers and the coaching staff, something that led to his departure during this summer market. Bayern's own sporting director, Max Eberl, declared that the player would not have minutes in the team and that is why they wanted to release him.
