Pedri: "I dream of playing with Messi and winning the Champions League"

Last summer, FC Barcelona opted for the signing of Pedri González, a talented 17-year-old Canarian attacking midfielder who came from UD Las Palmas and stayed on loan with the same team until next summer. His future from then on is unknown, having options to continue in his current team, go on loan to another First Division team or even join the Barça first team.

In an interview for Tiempo de Canarias, the young attacking midfielder spoke about FC Barcelona and the future challenges that he sees himself having as a Barça player. One of them is playing alongside the best player in the world. "There are many times that I have dreamed of being with Messi in a locker room or in a field. Hopefully it will happen," he said, jokingly adding that "at the moment I cannot imagine giving him an assistance, I will continue giving them to Rubén Castro."
