Bayern Munich changed its plans with one of its players in this summer market. The Bavarians would be determined to sell Alphonso Davies after his rejection of renewal proposals. The maneuver would put Real Madrid in a complicated situation
Alphonso Davies has rejected all Bayern Munich renewal proposals. From the moment the winger refused to extend his contract, the Germans began to convince themselves that the Canadian would fulfill his contract signed until June of next year and would leave for free. For this reason, now the Bavarians would be determined to sell the footballer in this summer market, since they want to earn some money for him.
The German club wants to take advantage of the moment to transfer Alphonso Davies and thus be able to finance some other operation. The Munich side have set the player's starting price at 50 million euros. This has become a 'problem' for Real Madrid, who had decided that the best thing was to wait until 2025 to sign him for free, as they have already done in recent years with Antonio Rüdiger, David Alaba or Kylian Mbappé.
The Madridistas wanted to use an old formula
The merengue team, therefore, must make a decision to respond to Bayern, despite the fact that Carlo Ancelotti had said that they did not plan to make new investments in this final stretch of the transfer market. However, the Madrid managers are aware that it is a brutal market opportunity to bring forward the arrival of a very 'top' winger by a year and that it must be studied.
Real Madrid has never wanted to spend too much on Alphonso and that was the reason why in the end they decided to wait a year for him, since the player, in principle, has decided to play at the Bernabéu either this year or next. Bayern rejected the Madridistas' lower offer and that was the end of it. Now, however, they are pressing to release him and this will 'force' the meringues to present some reasonable proposal. Maybe by going up to 40 kilos they will get the Germans to let the Canadian leave.
