Jurgen Klopp is the new head of football at the Austrian company Red Bull. The former Liverpool coach will seek to sign talents for the Austrian company's franchises and FC Barcelona could be one of his first objectives. In principle, the German coach would be interested in two young talents from the Barça reserve team, taking advantage of the contractual and sporting situation of both.

According to journalist Sébastien Vidal, Klopp would have set his sights on Aleix Garrido and Noah Darvich. The former has been out of action since May due to a fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his left foot suffered during the play off between Barça Atlètic and Ibiza, where the culés were on the verge of promotion to Second Division. Garrido renewed in 2023 for two seasons, until June 2025, but at the moment there is nothing advanced about a new contract extension.

The 20-year-old midfielder was an important piece last season, playing 24 games in which he added 1 goal and 3 assists for Rafa Márquez's team. However, his slow recovery has prevented him from making his debut in 2024/25. In the case of Darvich, the German still has two more seasons on his contract, but his current status with Albert Sánchez's team leaves many doubts for the future.

Noah Darvich has lost prominence at Barça

And the Freiburg player has only accumulated 153 minutes of action in 5 games played with the reserve team. Noah started against Zamora (1-0), but has played more with the German U-19 than with his club this season. On the recent FIFA date, the winger played half an hour against Romania (in the 2-0 defeat) and started against Norway (he played 69 minutes in the 0-2 victory). Barça paid 2.5 million euros for his transfer in the summer of 2023 and, if he continues to count for little for Sánchez, a possible sale in January is not ruled out.

For Jurgen Klopp, the goal is to sign footballers who can fit into the clubs managed by Red Bull. In Europe there are Leipzig and Salzburg, while in the United States there is New York. The list is completed by Bragantino from Brazil. The former Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund coach will earn 12 kilos net per year in his new position, which will take his first step towards sports management, his next goal in the world of football.
