Rafael Leao would be delighted to wear the FC Barcelona shirt. Milan would consider his departure for a fee of between 80 and 90 million euros
The name of Rafael Leao is once again gaining strength in the corridors of FC Barcelona. Joan Laporta dreams of a top signing to inaugurate the remodelled Spotify Camp Nou and the option of the Portuguese is beginning to gain ground due to his complex situation at AC Milan, where his clashes with the coach, Paulo Fonseca, have relegated him to the bench and have made the player rethink his future.
The winger renewed his contract with the 'rossonera' entity until 2028, with a termination clause of 175 million euros. An unaffordable figure for Barça, although the Lombard team would be willing to negotiate his transfer around a figure that oscillates between 80 and 90 million euros.
Although this amount would still be difficult for the Catalans to face, they continue working with the aim of balancing accounts for next summer and remain confident that the economic and fair play situation will be much better at the end of the season. In fact, the recently official agreement with Nike is the first 'stone' in the club's financial recovery plan.
Leao dreams of Barça
At the moment, the only certainty is that Leao would be delighted to wear the Barça shirt. According to 'SPORT', the Portuguese, although he is aware of the complexity of a hypothetical operation, would be willing to give the 'green light' if the culés interest goes from being a rumour to a concrete fact.
The Blaugrana are confident that they can make a major signing next summer, and although the focus would be on a '9' like Gyökeres or Erling Haaland, the sporting management does not rule out the incorporation of a winger and the Portuguese would be very well placed on the Barça agenda, where the player's desire to put himself under Flick's orders is a key factor in tipping the balance.
