The Blaugrana team would be negotiating with the 'red devil' board for the loan of the English attacker, although there are disagreements with the distribution of the salary
The possible signing of Marcus Rashford by FC Barcelona could be closer. According to the British media The Telegraph, the Blaugrana team and Manchester United have already begun to negotiate for the loan of the forward for six months. Dwayne Maynard, brother and agent of the player, is acting as the mediator. According to the aforementioned source, the English club seeks to completely free itself of the salary that remains for the season, around 9 million gross euros, while the Catalan entity has made it clear that it will not assume more than half. However, the common position is the doubt of whether Barça will be able to register the attacker before the closing of the market (January 3).
On the other hand, Fotomaç, a Turkish digital newspaper, assures that Galatasaray is close to securing his loan. The yellow and red team would be willing to pay the full emoluments of the left winger to sign him until June. The aim is to strengthen their attacking side with another big-name signing, just as they managed to do in the summer with the arrival of Victor Osimhem.

Rúben Amorim does not close the door to continuing
In the context of a possible departure of Rashford in the last days of the transfer market, Manchester United manager, Rúben Amorim did not want to stir up the hornet's nest any more. In the preview of the match against Steaua Bucharest, a commitment for which the Englishman has not been called up, the Portuguese coach spoke about the forward: "The situation is the same for everyone. My sentence was that I would not put any player who does not give his best. I did not say that just for Marcus Rashford. With him we are a better team, that is clear, but until the right time I will not change my mind," he said.
He also left the door open to the continuity of the number '10': "If Rashford changes, we will be more than happy to have him. But we have to set standards. It is not something personal. You can look at our team and imagine the profile of the players. He continued: “Imagine a talent like Rashford, our team should be much better, but he has to change. If he does, we will welcome using a talent like him, and we need that. But at this moment I think it is very clear that we have to set some standards. So we are waiting for Marcus, if he really wants it badly. That is the only thing.” He settled the issue by insisting that “it is not personal.”
