Rayo Vallecano could assist FC Barcelona with one of its 'pearls'. The Madrid team would be interested in Noah Darvich, who has shone little this season with the B team
Noah Darvich could make the leap to LaLiga in the upcoming winter market thanks to Rayo Vallecano. The Madrid team prioritizes some extra reinforcement in attack, as they will likely part ways with Colombian James Rodríguez in January. In this regard, the latest information points to the interest of Iñigo Pérez's team in the attacking midfielder from Barça Atlètic, who in the 2024/25 season has also failed to showcase the talent that the Barcelona board expects.
So far, coach Albert Sánchez has not found solutions in attack with the Freiburg native, who has only accumulated a couple of assists in 15 matches (627 minutes). The '21' was a starter in 2 of the last 5 matches of the B team, against Celta B and Osasuna B, but was substituted at halftime after leaving a very discreet impression in the first half. For his part, Hansi Flick has only called him up for one league match (against Celta), although the 18-year-old midfielder has participated in several training sessions with the first team.
Rayo, a great alternative for Noah Darvich
In this sense, the possibility of making the leap to LaLiga with Rayo would be a true news for Darvich, whose star has never fully ignited in the Primera RFEF. Since his arrival at Barça Atlètic, the German has only scored 1 goal and provided 4 assists in 39 matches (1,347 minutes), a performance far below the expectations generated by his signing in 2023.
Barcelona paid 2.5 million euros to Freiburg, signing him until the summer of 2026. Hence the importance of giving Noah the necessary playing time in the coming months to help him unleash his talent, something that the Spanish Third Division has not been able to offer to the captain of Germany's U-19 team. If an offer from Rayo materializes, it would likely be for a simple loan, without a mandatory purchase option.
