At the Bernabéu they could sell Aurélien Tchouaméni to finance the arrival of Florian Wirtz and reinforce Madrid's attack

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Real Madrid has not had the expected start to the season, and its midfield still cannot find the balance that Ancelotti's team so needs. Given this situation, the white board would be planning an important move: the sale of Aurélien Tchouaméni to make money and go after Florian Wirtz, one of the jewels of European football.

According to Eduardo Inda in El Chiringuito, the merengue club is willing to listen to offers for the Frenchman, who has not finished meeting expectations since his arrival in 2022. The Frenchman, signed for 80 million euros, could have his days numbered at the Santiago Bernabéu, especially if his performance does not improve in the coming months.

Manchester United, favorite to sign Tchouaméni

Manchester United is emerging as the main interested party in the French midfielder, whose physical and defensive profile would fit perfectly in the Premier League. The possible sale of Merengue would not only alleviate white finances, but would allow the club to assume the cost of signing Wirtz, valued as one of the most promising talents in German football.

Wirtz, 21, has shone for Bayer Leverkusen, showing a creative ability that would fit perfectly into the style of play that Madrid is looking for. His arrival could be key to rebuilding a midfield that still cannot make up for the absence of Toni Kroos and the poor playmaking performance of Luka Modric.

Tchouaméni displaced: his poor performance and the competition leave him out

Although Carlo Ancelotti considers Tchouaméni an important piece, the Frenchman has been moved to the central position on some occasions, which reflects doubts about his fit as a midfielder in the white scheme. With Camavinga, Valverde and Bellingham standing out in the midfield, the internal competition does not work in favor of the former Monaco player.

The summer market promises to be busy at the Bernabéu, and Tchouaméni's future will be one of the keys to defining the next steps of the Madrid project. Meanwhile, Wirtz continues to gain interest from big clubs, with Madrid willing to bet big on his talent.
