João Félix's options for finding a new team appear to be increasingly limited. Apparently, SL Benfica, the club that was interested in his transfer, seems to no longer be so clear about his wishes, due to a series of sporting and economic considerations

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The professional future of Joãor Félix keeps on being an incógnita in the actuality. As we mention recently in FCBN, the native of Viseu established on 27 July like deadline to resolve his situation and avoid arrive to the closing of the market veraniego without having at all clear-cut. Nevertheless, his options have gone back increasingly complicated by diverse reasons.

Initially, as it informed by several means, the priority of the Portuguese seemed to be join to the FC Barcelona. However, this option seems to cool gradually because of the formula proposed by the Catalan club, that consists in a new loan with similar conditions to the ones of the past year. This idea does not seem to be very received by the Athletic of Madrid, since the club does not value his return to the team and wishes to give off definitively of the player through a transfer. This operation does not seem to be the most viable for the Barcelonan cast, at least until it resolve his problems with the rule 1/1 and the 'fair play' financial.

In this point, arose a proposal that could result striking for Joãor Félix: the possible interest of the SL Benfica in doing again of his services. It spoke of a payment to the 'colchoneros' from among 25 and 30 M€ by 50% of his pass, but the 'Eagles' have to fulfil some minimum conditions so much sportive like economic to concretise this operation.

The return of Joãor Félix to the SL Benfica complicates

Nevertheless, the Portuguese newspaper 'To Ball' offers a new version on this possible union between the '11' of the Portuguese selection and the valid runner-up of the Primeira League, arguing that his incorporation to the club luso is practically descartada. They base in the fact that the team already has a remarkable quantity of players in his offensive front and in the zone of action of Joãor (Vangelis Pavlidis, Marcos Leonardo, Arthur Cabral, Casper Tengstedt, Henrique Araújo).

Although they do not close completely the door to this option, emphasize that the conditions have to be very favourable so that the Benfica consider his return this summer. Besides, aseveran categorically that this operation only could occur in August and in case that all the other plans have not arrived to good port.

With this in mind, would not be descabellado think that the alternative of his union to the SL Benfica have lost clarity. Now, Joãor Félix will have to begin to consider other options, like the apparent interest of the Aston Villa in ficharlo through a loan with option of purchase, if it wants to give him prompt solution to the subject of his future, which does not seem that it go to solve in brief.
