Jules Koundé could get further and further away from Barça. The Frenchman would also be in Manchester City's plans, which in turn would facilitate the departure of Nathan Aké to Chelsea
The FC Barcelona is still in research of an effective 'top' for his defence and Jules Koundé keeps on being one of the aims in the market of signings. However, recently it has added a competitor of weight by his signing, what could entorpecer the plans of the Barcelona directive, that could see forced to look for alternatives in case that the subject become an auction.
The Seville has clear that the French defender is one of his main bazas to do box in summer. In fact, the hispalenses come to reach a draft agreement by the services of Marcos do Nascimento Teixeira 'Marcao', the one who will arrive to the Andalusian team after his go through the Galatasaray. Of this way, the Brazilian defence would happen to reinforce the rows of the team of Julen Lopetegui until the summer of 2027.
With this incorporation, the rojiblancos could face up to the exit of Koundé, the one who up to now has like applicants by his index card to the Barça and to Chelsea. The team of Stamford Bridge part with advantage in the operation, no only for being a more favourable option for a Seville that would avoid to reinforce to a direct rival in LaLiga, but also by the agreement that keeps the French with the 'blues' from the past year.
The City could try it again
To them it has added the Manchester City, that would have the intention to carry out a second attempt by the signing of Koundé. Already in the summer of 2019, the mancunianos had put on the table an offer by 55 million euros, that finished being considered like insufficient by part of the directive of a conscious Seville of the value of the Frenchman.
The arrival of Koundé to the Manchester City could also favour to Chelsea in spite of being one of the prejudiced with the operation. With the French defender in the Etihad Stadium, the team of Pep Guardiola would not have greater problems in leaving leave to Nathan Aké to the team londinense. However, the Seville will not put him easy the things, since they expect at least 60 fixed millions by the defender.
