FC Barcelona would have a new and unexpected option to reinforce the left winger. This is one of the Chelsea forwards who would be considering joining the culé team. Who is it? We tell you at FCBN

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The goal of the upcoming summer transfer market of FC Barcelona seems to be quite clear: a 'top' left winger, with a more incisive character, a one-on-one destabilizer, fast, skillful in dribbling, and capable of fully exploiting the left side, a position that perhaps Raphinha, not being a natural left winger, does not fully exploit, given his more freedom-oriented offensive profile.

Facing this need, the Blaugrana club has raised its expectations and names like Nico Williams (Athletic Club), Luis Díaz (Liverpool), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Napoli), and Rafa Leão (AC Milan) are mentioned, very attractive options in sporting terms, but which would entail a significant economic investment.

At the same time, Barcelona is considering other options that may fit into its sports planning, interesting from a sports point of view, and that, for various reasons, could be more economically viable. In this context, it seems that the Catalan team has added another name to its list of possible signings for the upcoming summer market.

Nkunku, the new 'hidden' option that Barça would be exploring to strengthen the left wing

As reported in 'SPORT', FC Barcelona would be closely monitoring the situation of the left winger from Chelsea, Christopher Nkunku. The aforementioned source suggests that the French forward, former player of RB Leipzig, would be interested in leaving the 'Blue' team due to his lack of prominence (currently having played 25 matches in a total of 1008 minutes, without being a starter), looking for a club that offers him more playing opportunities to regain sensations.

Apparently, the agent of Nkunku, Pini Zahavi, an 82-year-old Israeli representative, who also represents assets of Barcelona like Robert Lewandowski and Hansi Flick, has proposed his name to the Catalan club.

Zahavi has a good relationship with Barcelona, which could facilitate a possible transfer if the Catalan club shows interest in Nkunku, who apparently would be willing to adjust his salary demands to the economic situation of Barcelona. It is worth noting that, according to 'Capology' metrics, Christopher earns around 10.14 million pounds annually, approximately 12.23 million euros.

In this section, it has been mentioned that the winger would like to change teams in the January market, and Chelsea would be open to letting him go due to the abundance of options in the offensive front. However, Barcelona has no intention of signing in this winter window, as it will focus on the signings of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. Therefore, any possible transfer would take place next season, with the club already informed of the situation and open to considering a loan if the opportunity arises.
