Betis can acquire the services of Vitor Roque permanently at the end of the season. The Brazilian's loan expires on June 30, 2025, but the Andalusians have a purchase option that would be around 25 million euros
Vitor Roque is experiencing a kind of 'rebirth' at Real Betis. The Brazilian, who went through an 'ordeal' at FC Barcelona during the last stretch of last season, landed on the right foot at the Benito Villamarín, the stadium where he already made his debut as a goalscorer last weekend. The footballer sealed the victory of the Verdiblancos against Leganés, scoring the second goal that sealed the match and confirmed his good form.
The Andalusians' bet on 'Tigrinho' is beginning to bear fruit, and if he maintains the expected projection, they could acquire his services permanently. This was revealed by Ángel Haro, president of the club, and Manu Fajardo, sporting director, at the press conference to present Roque, where they assured that the loan agreement for the forward includes an option to buy at the end of the season.
"Betis has an option to buy Vitor. The most important thing is that the boy is as we see him, happy, that he also develops as a person, because sometimes we think of players only as goals. And when the summer comes we will see the circumstances, but it is true that we have an option to buy"
In addition, they revealed that the Blaugrana entity did not keep a buy-back clause for the future, so the Betis team has an exclusive advantage if they want to acquire the permanent services of the South American scorer.
The conditions of the Vitor Roque agreement
According to 'Estadio Deportivo', the offices of the Seville institution should pay a figure of around 25 million euros to acquire 80% of the rights of the player. An amount that would allow Barça to recover the investment of 30 million fixed that it deposited with Athletico Paranaense in case Betis decides to transfer Vitor in the future.
As things stand, it is clear that the Blaugranas had to lower their demands in order to get rid of one of their main discards for the current campaign. The Catalans intended to immediately recover the investment made in the last winter market for the striker, asking for an approximate price of 40 'millions' for his sale. However, they finally agreed to loan him to the Verdiblancos, understanding that LaLiga and Pellegrini's project could be an ideal context for Roque to continue his development in Spain, which was the player's main desire.
