The Barça dressing room believes that Erling Haaland would be the ideal signing for the club. The Norwegian is the favourite of the Blaugrana squad to reinforce the team, and they have already made public their desire to play alongside the '9'
After a 'low-key' transfer market in which only Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor were signed, the 2025 summer window is looking like a very exciting one for FC Barcelona. The Blaugrana managed to double their salary cap and are about to sign a contract renewal with Nike, elements that give the club a significant margin to undertake large-scale operations.
Names such as Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz have been linked with the Blaugrana squad, who are looking to surround Lamine Yamal with some of the best players in the world. However, from the Spotify Camp Nou dressing room they would be quite clear about what the ideal signing would be for the team led by Hansi Flick and they have already made it public.
The word from the Barça dressing room
In an interview with 'Jijantes', Marc Casadó was asked which player he would sign for Barça if he had all the money in the world. The midfielder trained at La Masia, almost without flinching, said that he would like to see Erling Haaland dressed in Barça.
"Following what Pedri said in another interview, I will say Haaland"
At the beginning of the year, the Canary Islander said that the Manchester City goalscorer would be an ideal signing for the Blaugrana squad during a conversation held with the famous 'streamer' Ibai Llanos on his 'Twitch' channel.
"I would sign Messi if he was 19 or 22 years old, but at present I would sign Haaland, he is a 'cyborg' and scores many goals. It is true that we have Lewandowski, but he is older, he will not be able to play until he is 60"
A 'possible' dream in the future
Although, as of today, it seems very complicated that Can Barça can undertake an operation of this caliber, the truth is that in the next few months things can change. The possible sanction to Manchester City, added to the improvement in the coffers of the Blaugrana entity, could make possible the arrival of an Erling Haaland whose contract expires in June 2027.
The 'citizen' squad wants to extend his contract and make him the highest paid player on the team. However, the intention of the Norwegian would be to include in his contract an "escape clause" to be able to leave if he so wishes in case of receiving an important offer from another big club on the continent, a scenario that the Blaugranas would like to take advantage of to incorporate him into their ranks if their economy allows it.
