FC Barcelona could be receiving an offer in January for Ansu Fati, who has once again been the subject of interest from one of the big clubs in Turkey that will seek to obtain his loan. Will they be able to achieve it?

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Will Ansu Fati continue at FC Barcelona for the remainder of the 2024-25 season? That doesn't seem very clear, why? Because the forward, who is currently facing an injury that will leave him 'KO' for about four weeks, despite having the confidence of Hansi Flick, who considered him a valuable asset to reinforce the Blaugrana's attack, has not seen that confidence translate into playing time, currently accumulating just 158 minutes of action.

Not only that, when Ansu Fati has had the opportunity to play, the image he has left does not really inspire optimism, as he has not been able to make a difference on the field, giving the impression that he is a step behind his teammates. This has sparked a debate on whether Barcelona will make a decision regarding the future of the '10' in the upcoming winter transfer window, aiming to help him regain confidence and form.

Given this premise, the idea of a loan for Ansu Fati is starting to seem less far-fetched, with some LaLiga clubs showing interest in acquiring his services, such as Sevilla, the team where he began his football career in the youth academy, and others like Real Sociedad. Furthermore, the interest is not confined to the national sphere, as there are also foreign clubs attracted to him.

Fenerbahçe rekindles interest in securing Ansu Fati's services

Several Turkish media outlets suggest that Fenerbahçe under José Mourinho, a team that considered signing the forward at the beginning of the season without success, is interested in understanding Ansu Fati's situation for this winter transfer window as a loan to strengthen their attacking line, which currently relies on Edin Džeko (11 goals) and Dušan Tadić (7) as top scorers but requires more depth in attack.

At this juncture, the high salary of Ansu Fati (13,9 million euros gross) also carries significant weight. Fenerbahçe, currently competing in the Europa League, could afford this amount, so it is not ruled out that they could finalize the transaction, with the outcome depending on whether Ansu Fati gives the green light for this loan to be successfully completed.
