On this occasion, Paris Saint-Germain's sports advisor, Luis Campos, did not hesitate to address the possible interest of the Parisians in Lamine Yamal and whether they are considering launching an offensive for the culé striker
Lamine Yamal continues to be a topic of conversation in the football world. The talented right winger, at just 17 years old, has established himself as one of the main 'cracks' on the international sports scene, being that player with a star aura that most, if not all, teams desire to have in their squad. The Spanish-Moroccan is a player gifted with exceptional talent, capable of deciding a match by himself due to his exceptional quality that only a few possess.
In this context, one of the teams that has shown interest in adding the '19' from the Culé team is Paris Saint-Germain, a team that already has experience in acquiring the services of several 'top' wingers from FC Barcelona, such as Neymar Jr. and Ousmane Dembélé. It should be noted that there was previously talk of a 'crazy' offer of €200 million for Lamine Yamal from the French club, a proposal that was dismissed by Barça without any consideration.
The PSG Sporting Director's Nod to Lamine Yamal
Recently, PSG has once again shown interest in Lamine Yamal. Luis Campos, the sporting advisor of the Parisian team, expressed his admiration for the player from Rocafonda during the 'Thinking Football Summit' organized by the Portuguese League in Porto. "It is clear that I like Lamine Yamal, but also other players who have a lot of quality. It cannot be said that Yamal is not a great footballer. He is an excellent player, and watching him play at the level he is performing is incredible," noted the Portuguese.
However, Campos did not hesitate to put an end to any rumors about the possibility of the Parisians, at least for now, venturing to launch an offensive for the Culé forward, in order to avoid speculation following his statements. "It must be said that if we had signed all the players mentioned in the press linked to PSG, we would have an incredible array of stars. The truth is that we are very happy with the squad we have," he concluded.
Lamine Has No Doubts About His Desire to Continue Making History with FC Barcelona
Paris Saint-Germain, although appearing cautious regarding their interest in Lamine Yamal, does not completely rule it out. However, the chances of a transfer could be slim, given FC Barcelona's desire to retain and develop their young 'gem' as their next big star. Additionally, in a recent statement by Lamine on 'El Hormiguero', he made it clear that he does not see himself in any other jersey than Barça: ""I hope to never leave Barça, I want to be a legend." If he continues on this upward trajectory, he will undoubtedly achieve it.
