Different rumours signalled that it had been offered to the Barcelona directive, but his surroundings has it descartado categorically to SPORT: there is not at all on the table, at least for now.
His agent, Alessandro Canovi, would have confirmed to the Catalan newspaper that anybody has been authorised to offer the traspaso of the trainer italo-Brazilian to the Barça split of the next season. At present it is concentrated in finishing the course with the Bologna, to fault of two parties, and desmarca of any approach to the Spanish group.
As they have explained, Motta is not the type of trainer that would be "offering " to the different teams and, besides, saves absolute respect to Xavi by his work in the Barcelona bench.
