It should be remembered that the Catalan team does not seem close to the idea of letting 'Tigrinho' go through a loan, but rather they aim to find him a new destination through a transfer. An amount ranging between €30 and €35 million is being handled, as the team from the City of Barcelona aims to recoup the investment made when bringing him from Athletico Paranaense during the last winter transfer window (€30 million).
At this point, one of the clubs that seems to be gaining ground recently to sign the forward is the current champions of the Portuguese league, Sporting Clube de Portugal, initially the team wanted to acquire his services through a loan.
