FC Barcelona could be receiving a transfer offer this winter market from Villarreal for one of its young talents who is not enjoying many minutes. Do you want to know who it is? We tell you at FCBN
If there is an attribute that distinguishes big teams at a global level, it is that they have a fairly extensive and talent-filled roster across all their lines. This often translates into players who would be undisputed starters in other teams, or at least have a greater role, getting very few minutes of action, with scarce opportunities to show everything they can do at a game level.
The FC Barcelona is not an exception to this rule, as it has numerous assets that do not have the same opportunities to see playing time. Hansi Flick already has a well-established core of players that leaves little room for rotations. In particular, the midfield stands out, where the Culés have up to seven players competing for three positions.
Villarreal would be after Pablo Torre's services
One of these players vying for one of those positions is Pablo Torre, who could be packing his bags and looking for a new destination in the upcoming winter transfer market. Even, as reported in 'El Nacional.cat', a team from the upper zone of LaLiga EA Sports would be interested in signing the talented midfielder, with this potential new destination being Villarreal CF.
The source suggests that the 'groguet' team is looking to strengthen its squad with top talent, considering Pablo Torre as an option. Currently, the Soto de la Marina native is one of the Barcelona midfielders with the fewest minutes played this season (509), but he has managed to make his mark in those few minutes, scoring three goals and providing an assist in six matches.
It is also rumored that the Villarreal CF coach, Marcelino García Toral, has had conversations with Pablo Torre to persuade him to join the 'Yellow Submarine' project, where he could enjoy a greater role. Additionally, it is mentioned that Barcelona could be willing to let him go for around six million euros, a relatively low amount considering that the Culés paid around five million euros for him initially, which could even become 20 million euros if certain variables are met.
