Vitor Roque is not going through his best moment at FC Barcelona. The striker was unable to train for the second day in a row and has missed all the preparation prior to the Joan Gamper Trophy, which will be played this Monday, August 12, against AS Monaco. According to the team, the Brazilian did not take part in any of the training sessions on Saturday under the orders of Hansi Flick due to "malaise and fever."

This Sunday, Roque went to the Ciutad Esportiva first thing in the morning and after half an hour he left again. The club's doctors have reportedly decided not to risk the player, who would have the door open to leaving the culé team. The young striker has already been feeling generally unwell for several days, because he also did not take part in the first training session after the tour of the United States.

A preseason to forget

It is clear that Roque's presence at the Joan Gamper is more than unlikely. Beyond his health situation, the German coach does not count on him, so each day that passes could be the last for him in Barcelona. In fact, his agent, André Cury, and his father met this week with Barça's sporting director, Deco, and they came to the conclusion that the striker should leave on loan. However, his agent would be more in favour of a transfer, so a solution is expected in the next few days.

The truth is that this preseason has not gone as the Brazilian expected. He missed the first two days of training in Barcelona due to medical leave and was already coming from a tour in the United States where he did not have much presence. Against Manchester City he played 45 minutes and only 13 against Real Madrid and AC Milan. The farewell seems to be imminent.
