Adama Traoré still dreams of FC Barcelona. The Spanish international, currently a Fulham player, spoke about current events on the program 'El Larguero', on the 'SER' network, leaving open the possibility of returning one day to LaLiga and, perhaps, to Barça, where he could only score 1 goal in the 21 games he played during his six-month loan in 2021/22, with Xavi Hernández on the bench.

"As a youth player I will always be a Barcelona player. If I had the option, why not?; but it would have to be under different circumstances," commented the 28-year-old forward. Traoré also did not rule out leaving Fulham in the winter market, although he has been a starter in the 7 Premier games played by Marco Saraiva's team (seventh in the standings, with 11 points).

Adama Traoré, hungry for revenge at FC Barcelona

Regarding his last spell with the Barça team, the man from L'Hospitalet admitted feeling frustrated for not showing a better image during his loan. "It's a thorn in the side... perhaps a bad taste in the mouth because any Barça youth player wants to stay. I knew I was on loan and the situation at the club, my intention was to help as much as possible," argued the current Fuham forward.

In that sense, he added: "It is true that in the middle of my loan there was a more personal change for the coach. My intention was to help as much as possible, but the coach's bet was Dembele. He had a contract and I didn't. They are learning stages," Adama pointed out. The Barca youth player had left La Masia in 2015 to sign for Aston Villa. Seven years later he was able to return, but only for six months in which he failed to win any title.
